6. Added an option to the Maintain Accounts form to not charge Credit Card fees to a Consignor for their items that were sold to a customer that used a credit or debit card to make the purchase. This will override the default setting in the Company Profile.

as of June 26, 2012

1. Cancelled layaways are now handled differently than before. Instead of marking the items as sold and creating a new item with a new item number, the system now records the forfeited layaway deposit as a handling fee. The cancelled layaway items are then simply returned to an available for sale status.

2. Added a Quick Find by Account Number to the Buy Existing Inventory form.

3. Added a consignor Fees Paid report to the consignor report options menu.

4. Added an option to the Company Profile Printers tab for the Receipt Printer to print 2 copies versus only 1. One for the customer and one for the store.

5. Added a print button on the Item Pricing form.

6. Added the ability to have alternate consignment periods for certain Categories of Items. The current Consignment Period on BusinessRules1 of the Company Profile will be the default consignment period. If a consignment period is entered for a Category in the Category Lookup List, then it will override the default consignment period.

7. Added a Begin and End Date Range for the Date Sold and the Date Consigned fields on the Advanced Item Inquiry form to provide additional flexibility when searching for items and generating reports.

8. Added a link from the Maintain Accounts Screen to Wish List form to allow additions to the customer’s Wish List This also allows the Sales Clerk to add an item to the Wish List for a customer from the Point of Sale Screen.

9. Added an option to Unlock the Charge Card Fee field so that the Card processing fee on an individual item can be changed or deleted if desired. This new option is located on the Systems Configuration Tab of the Company Profile.

10. Added an option to the BusinessRules2 tab to disable the Store Discount field on the Point of Sale Screen.

included in Release 3.5.5.9
as of March 12, 2012

1. Added functionality to support a Store Discount via the Point of Sale Screen. This feature enables you to give the customer a store discount by either entering the percentage of the discount, i.e 10 for 10% or you can click on the Percent Sign (%) button so that it changes to a dollar sign ($) and then enter the actual dollar amount of the Store Discount you are giving. The Store Discount will not impact the amount the consignor will be paid, as they will be paid based on the sold price of the item in the shopping basket.

2. Added the option of making a layaway payment against all items on the layaway in addition to making a payment against a single item on layaway via the Maintain Layaways form.

3. Added an option to the Company Profile - Business Rules2 to auto assign the next available number to a new item being entered into Inventory.

4. Changed the number of days before a demo expires from 45 to 35 days.

5. Added a print button on the Pricing Table form to allow the pricing information entered in the table to be printed.

6. Added a new Daily Activity Report to the Sales Detail Reports Menu that shows Sales, Cost of Goods sold, Non-Store Credit Payouts, Store Credit Payouts and Total Payouts.

7. Added a new option to Express Events to allow the customer to be added to the Sales Receipt after the sale has been processed for those instances where the Sales Clerk forgot to identify the customer at the time of the sale.

8. Added support for multiple consignment periods by category. To specify a different consignment period for a specific category, enter the consignment period in days via the Lookup List form in the Company Profile.

9. Added an option to the Company Profile - Business Rules 2 tab to restrict the upload for Online Consignor Account Activity to a specified number of months. The default is 12 months. This will help enhance to performance of the upload so that it will take less time for the upload process to complete.

10. Added additional options to including pending payments to the Company Profile Business Rules 2 for what consignor account information gets uploaded the the Web Site.

11. Added an option to the Company Profile Business Rules 2 to show pending payments on the Consignor Payment Due form. The default is set to not show pending payments as this option requires longer to calculate the additional pending payment information for very large data files.

12. Added the mailing address to the One at the Top Check format so that it fits inside the envelope window.

13. Added a link from the Maintain Accounts form to the Wish List allowing the Sales Clerks to enter customer wish list items from the Point of Sale Screen by selecting the customer and clicking the Edit button, then the Wish List button.

1. Added the ability to collect partial consignor fees and also the collect consignor fees not currently due via the Multi-Payment form option of the Point of Sale Screen. You do this by either increasing or decreasing the number of payments to be collected as indicated in the number of cycles field.

2. Added the option to present different views of the consignor's activity on the Web-based Online Consignor Accounts. You can select from the following options by clicking on the drop-down arrow associated with the Online Account Views field.

as of July 11, 2010

1. Added a new Edit Customer command button to the Point of Sale screen to allow the Sales Clerk to verify and update an existing customer's information directly from the Point of Sale Screen.

2. Changed the logic for determining the path to the data base machine so that a networked client computer does not automatically default to the local data base when the master computer cannot be initially located. Instead, the user is notified and given the choice for determining the location of the data base.

3. Modified the Wish List so that the Category field is no longer a requred field for locating items on a customer's Wish List.

4. Added the capability to print a specific customer's wish list matches or all matached items for all customers from the Wish List data file.

5. Added a Print Report button to the Cash Drawer Reconciliation form.

6. Added the capability to simultaneously change all items in the Point of Sale Shopping basket to a specified price via the Price Change form.

A new "Debit Account" transaction has been added to Express Events to allow for a Consignor's Account to be debited for such things as an item that had to be dry-cleaned or a repair made to a piece of furniture. Debits will show up as a negative Credit to the Consignor's Account on the Credit Notes Outstanding Report.

17. A new Security control has been added for issuing Credit Notes and debiting an Account via the TCS Security Log-on. To set this up, you would need to require your employees to sign in with a User Name and Password and also set up those allowed to issue Credit Notes or debit Accounts via the Maintain Employees/Users Permissions form.

18. Added the ability to locate all customer looking for a specific item via the Wish List screen.

19. Added a new report "Consignor Payments Due Details" to the Consignor Report Options Menu.

1. Added a Suspend a Sale feature to the Point of Sale Shopping Basket.

2. Added a Delete Account (DA) Record to the QBExport log for tracking purposes.

3. Added a Sold Items Discount Report showing the amount and percentage of discounts given on sold items. The report is located on the Inventory Report Options Menu.

4. Addressed several maintenance issues:

1. Corrected the Lookup List Maintenance via the Company Profile where it was not allowing more than 1 update at a time.
2. Fixed a problem where deleting a Partial Payment was not deleting the associated Credit Note.
3. Fixed a problem where the designated minimum due before payment by check was not allowing a payout for that exact amount.
4. Fixed a problem where several Inventory Reports were not including information from the last day in the selected date range.

included in Release 3.1.10
as of March 24, 2009

1. Added Pricing Table to allow the Owner or Store Manager to set prices for automatic insertion for new items entered into inventory. This new feature allows for items with the same description, but varying degrees of quality such as "New" versus "Used Like New" or "Good Condition", etc. to be automatically priced accordingly. In order to use the new Pricing Table, you will need to indicate so by checking the Pricing Table box on the Business Rules2 tab in the Company Profile. The Pricing Table can be updated via the Update Price List selection from the Inventory Purchases Menu found via the Work with Inventory Menu options.

2. Added a finanacial tracking log file to record all system updates of a financial nature.

3. Added an automatic interface to Quickbooks. Please call the SBS Solutions Help Desk for details on setting your System up to use this new feature.

4. Added an Inventory PC flag to the Systems Configuration tab in the Company Profile to indicate whether the workstation is a networked computer being used to enter inventory items and print tags. This would not be the Master PC as it already has this functionality. The purpose of this designation is to speed up the process of printing tags from a remote non-master computer by temporarily storing inventory updates locally. A computer using this feature would not see new inventory items entered from other networked computers after starting up the program and initiating this process.

5. A new 2inch wide X 1 inch in height thermal label tag was added to the thermal tag print options menu.

6. Subtotals were added to the Monthly Sales Summary Report to show the Totals at the end of each month when more than 1 month is included on a report.

7. Added a new one line Consignor Payments Summary Totals report to the Consignor Report Options Menu.

8. Added the ability to export email addresses to a text file from the Email Processing form.

9. Added a new Cash Flow Report to the Sales Summary Reports Menu.

1. Added support for a Pole Display Device for use with your Point of Sale Station which shows customers their purchases as they are entered and the total amount due and change to be returned when the Sale is consumated.

2. Revised the Daily, Monthly, and Annual Sales Summary Report formats and included the Sales Total field on all reports.

3. Removed the Totals Page from the Consignor Payment Summary Reports and created a new seperate Consignor Payment Summary Totals Report showing the payments made for each Account processed.

4. Added Service Option for uploading Consignor Account Information to the Info.MyConsigns.com Web Site allowing Consignors to check the status of their accounts online via the Internet. Payment Due, Available Inventory, Prior Payments, Expired Inventory and Donated Inventory status is available to Consignors online with this option. This will cut down on your phone calls from consignors asking if they are due a check.

5. Added a New Form to allow for the reversal of the last single payment or batch of payments posted. The new form is located by clicking on the "Work with Accounts" Menu, then Consignor Payments Menu, then select "Reverse Payment Transaction".

6. Added a New Form to allow for reprinting the last single payment or batch of payments posted. The new form is located by clicking on the "Work with Accounts" Menu, then Consignor Payments Menu, then select "Reprint Last Check Run ".

7. Changed the TCS Program Install Script to install the program and data file in a folder named SBSSolutions on the C Drive if the Windows OS is Vista. The TCS Data File, "TCSData.mdb"will be located at the following path if the OS is Windows Vista. C:\ SBSSolutions\The Consignment Shop\Data\ . If the OS is an earlier version of Windows, i.e. XP or 2000, etc. the TCS Data File, "TCSData.mdb"will continue to be located at the current path location: C:\Program Files\SBSSolutions\The Consignment Shop\Data\ .

8. Added Item details to the Online Accounts Payment History. Added a Print Button and sorted the Store Selection Window alphabetically by Store Name versus Store-ID.

2. Added the ability to select a specific consignor when using the Auto-Forfeit form.

3. Added the ability to return a single forfeited item to a consignor via the Express Events form.

1. Added a new Buyer's Fee option to allow for the collection of an item fee from the Purchaser. The Buyer's fee is embedded in the price of the item when it is entered into the Point of Sale Shopping Basket and is subtracted from the sale price of each item before the consignor/store split is calculated. Please see the "How Do I" reference document for details on how to set up Buyer's Fees and how they are maintained.

2. All Consignor Reports have been modified to include Buyer's Fee information.

3. Expanded the size of the custom message that appears at the bottom of the Sales Receipt so that you are no longer restricted to only 50 characters.
